I first flew X-Plane around v5 or 6 but didn't fly anything very often. I switched to FSX about 4 years ago after switching from an old iMac to something better and bought the PMDG MD-11, but preferred less-intimidating offline flights. Sometime last year I saw a few screenshots of X-Plane 9 and decided to try it out again and haven't touched FSX in a while (not taking sides, they both have their pros and cons).
I joined VATSIM about 2 weeks ago and have been flying mock DAL, UPS, and FDX flights around the Eastern US, but I wanted more realism . So after looking around for a good VA, I found FreeWorld. I've got a bit of reading up to do on how everything works, and can't wait to get started. |

Welcome aboard! Hope to see you in the skies... However, I have been thinking about permanently switching to IVAO. I can actually understand the ATC on IVAO.
